Well MC is a _lot_ better than Naama skill wise, but the games were still entertaining, I don't know why people bother watching & whining when they know what it's gonna be, or even if they don't they would find it out in first 5 minutes
It takes a fool to remain sane.

Laugh all you want, but until MKP, Kas, and MMA play there's really nothing to get your panties tied in a knot over.

Sadly I think there is a big chance, that MMA is the only Terran we'll see in the Ro16

MKP and MMA should advance, Kas should aswell but it depends if NightEnd plays really well like he did against TaeJa at a Dreamhack.

I don't get why people doubt MKP so much :/ last 3 months his TvZ is at a 50% win rate vs THE BEST zergs in the world.

Hes also technicly the korean with the best results as of late, 2nd WCG korea, 2 consecutive Ro8 gsl, just won mini HSC, while he isn't looking like the new best player in the world I would rate him as a favorite in this tournament, maybe Stephano could take him out, depending on how he plays.

What a great first day, HSC never disappoints! Won't be able to catch any of it tomorrow but I hope everybody has tons of fun!
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

MC delievers as expected. It's a bit painful to watch Naama, his TvP builds are really interesting and pretty well executed, but they lead to complicated games. And his mistakes make him look really stupid when he loses.

He lost to goswser last week didn't he ? Then he beat him in the 2nd match but still he looks pretty fragile in TvZ.

I wish there was a new generation of terran players in europe, would be could to see a new guy make a splash. We've enough new zerg bonjwas.

He might not be crushing them, but he still beat top zergs, he beat both Sniper and HyuN in GSL 5, 2-1.

His only losses lately has been from Life, DRG and Leenock

Guy doing creative strats? THANK GOD HE IS OUT.~

I like Naama and all.. but it would have been a complete travesty if he advanced instead of MC... Naama has creative builds yes... but it's mostly just random all ins, he is not really a strong player overall... The better player advanced and that makes me happy. Sorry Naama!

I totally get that, but let's just give naama some credit here. He went 2:2 against MC and was (far) ahead at one point in both games that he lost. He did stuff I've literally never seen before and that made those series very entertaining.

Yes his control isn't good (his macro is decent actually.), but his creativity was enough to have a really close series against one of the best protoss players in the world. Is MC the better player overall? hell yes. Would Naama have deserved to win this series, because he simply outsmarted MC? I think so.

MKP seems so predictable and while he won the numericable Mill house cup his play wasn't anything to get excited about. He obviously should almost certainly get out of group play, but I fear for him if he meets MC, Symbol, Snute or Stephano, and I wouldn't consider him a heavy favorite vs TLO, Mana, Bly, Dimaga or MMA. I would be very surprised if he takes this tournament. I would say Stephano, Snute, MC, Symbol and possibly Dimaga and MMA (no idea how MMA is doing lately) are the favorites.

I don't think it's fair to consider MMA favourite over MKP, in a TvT MKP has a very good chance to win, given MMA's last months lack of performance.

MKP might not win the tournament, but he is a strong contender. Maybe Stephano in his prime is better (but don't forget he has this tendency of getting wasted friday night and proceed to loose all weekend games to his hangover); and vs MC, Snute or Socke he has a fair chance.

Or maybe it's just my terran fanboyism talking xD

Its pretty much him and Mvp that likes to go for those tricky tank pushes.

I think its better that MC moves on because hes a better player that can go all the way while Naama would probably lose in the next round. Im not a big fan of upsets because the player that pulls off the upset usually ends up losing to someone worse later on.
