Taeja played really well, JYP is clutch, and Jaedong is awesome. with Revival, Zenio, Puma, and Stephano, this team should be theoretically unbeatable. But I guess this speaks more to EG-TL's goals. Are they here to win or are they here to pull in more sponsors?
Don't forget that CJ also has Skyhigh and Snow who are arguably better then Bong and SongDuri . EGTL should start winning , but lets face it , they are not the favourites over any other team as pointed out in the Proleague preview article .

Tough loss, but I'm at least glad they put up a fight in the end and didn't get 4-0'd after going up 2-0. HerO lost in a similar way to how JYP did last week, just wasn't prepared for that early aggression even though he should've been. I can't believe so many people were doubting JYP on stream and forum. Dude is a zerg killer/sniper and former code-s player, not like he's a scrub or anything.
Anyway, good to see that a full EGTL team with heavy hitters can compete with the best of other proleague teams and that last week was more due to circumstances. Still waiting to see PuMa play. I think his aggressive play style will be really good in proleague. Also will be fun to watch as JD gets better and better at sc2. I enjoyed watching his win earlier today.

Today there's no excuse; he had the number of good players to be able to get this right Are you kidding me? Huk's best is PvP, and JYP got to play vs Effort who has the worst ZvP win ratio on the planet. Things couldn't have gone better for EG-TL. They just straight up lost. LOL - hardly my chinese friend I think they drew pretty good matchups overall. maybe switch taeja and hero, but otherwise it was pretty good for the unholy alliance Exactly. They definitely drew good matchups considering that the other team's staff is also trying to draw best matchup for their players and snipe opposing players etc. CJ definitely didn't have an edge in the matchups. Could it have been even better for EGTL? In theory yes, realistically not really. CJ also used their rookies , but i guess EGTL returned the favour by using Huk and Thorzain . I was scared , because i don't know what to expect from Bong and SongDuri and both didn't look like they are up to Proleague standart at this point . Had CJ played Skyhigh and Snow i would have been a lot more confident about this match . Thank god for herO[join] saving the match .
Yeah, it was really weird that Skyhigh didn't play. I suppose there's a pretty good reason why Snow doesn't play for 3 weeks in a row though.

anyone has a link to the full schedule? who does EGTL play next?

Thorzain played well imo, but didn't think about a possible run by? he played well tho I think he will be the first foreigner to win in SPL
You are probably right. I still believe that this team has the best line up - even if some guys are missing. Everything else is just maps and strategy. On paper EGTL is the best team. I don't think that many Kespa players can compete with Code S level play in a normal game (just based on results AND the builds they are playing). Lots of tricks and lots of mindgame PL best 1 format the way to go and adapt.
It would be really nice to see some clan wars between those guys and GSL teams though.

CJ was the under dog going into these matches so i was cheering for them! Why i say CJ are the uderdog because EG-TL have been playing starcraft 2 longer then Kespea players/teams. GG GL!

Is this team living together or is everyone just doing their own thing on the ladder coming into these matches?

You made it sound like Stephano is a player far superior to Hero/Taeja when in fact he isn't. And no there is no such thing as "sure win" in SC2. Stephano, even in ZvP, is as vulnerable as anyone else nowadays and I could definitely see him lose to herO, and it's hardly even an upset.

They should beat Khan and Team8, but other than that it ll be very hard to get a high finish at this point.

'Theoretically unbeatable'...not knowing most of the kespa players doesn't mean they're walkovers. I see a roster with some great players and some very mediocre ones, a small coaching staff and a team training environment (if there even is one) that's almost certainly not as productive and well-oiled as those of the kespa teams.
Excuses like they were just trying to draw sponsors is silly, winning draws sponsors.

As bad as Leta and Snow probably are for not playing , i still feel more confident with them playing do to their bigger experience then the likes of Bong and SongDuri . I don't know at what level they are though .

The thing about Stephano is that he never gets nervous. He never chokes, ever. Having a rock like that who simply will not crumble under pressure is massive. In an ace match situation he is far superior to Hero or Taeja just because of that, neither played anywhere close to their best tonight.
