I wonder how his wrists are... Considering Mvp just outright refusing to use bio lately is concerning to me.

I'd be fine with MVP, Parting, Hero or DRG (for neoghaleon's sake) winning this, but 2013 will be the year of MKP. The prophecy has been foretold.

this is soo stacked...OMG!!!!!
sucks to only see mvp as the only terran...but i mean come on...it's mvp..he's like 10 terrans in one

SOO HYPED!!! MVP, Leenock FIGHTING!!! I'd be happy with any 1 of Parting, Hero, or DRG advancing.

People didn't forget him, but when even his own teammates are saying his play has declined (see Keen's interview from yesterday), it's hard to be confident that he'll do well.
Also, he posted in his fan club, and said he doesn't care about this tournament right now, just the up-and-downs.
Still, he's DRG, he has the talent. You never know, maybe he'll find his old fire.

So excited for Mvp but if this is all Bo3 we could be here for a long time, possible 30 match's and tie breaks.
Should be some great games.

Should be some great games. if this goes past midnight, fml haha. it's not unlikely, too, with some potentially long PvZ and TvZ incoming.

Now, the match looks very different. Mvp has always looked vulnerable in 2012, yet no one would dare count him out. DongRaeGu is an amazing player but he has been in a huge slump for months now - a slump that looks almost insurmountable. Meanwhile, Mvp went 3-4 against GSL/MLG champion Life. Mvp looks like he has a clear advantage in his first match of the night. Next, we have Mvp vs. PartinG. While PartinG has pretty good PvT, displaying good form in his WCG/WCS back to back championships, PartinG has looked stronger against Zerg with his famed Immortal/Sentry Soul push. His PvT is still fearsome, but Mvp's TvP has looked downright scary this year. Recently, he went 3-2 against Rain, 2-0 against Flying, 2-1 against sOs. Earlier in the year, Mvp went 4-3 against Squirtle and, notably, 3-1 against PartinG. Mvp will be looking to repeat that result at the end of the year. Now, Mvp vs. HerO. People talk about the PvT of Rain and PartinG, but by God look at HerO's PvT! Somehow, HerO has gotten to be some sort of PvT genius this year, reaching almost 70% overall and winning 9 of his last 10 games in Korea and 10 of his last 10 games internationally! That's an unbelievable hot streak, and his victories include victories over Heart (2-0), Polt (2-0), Ryung (2-1), TaeJa (4-0), ThorZaIN (2-0), ForGG (2-0), Apocalypse (2-0), TaeJa (3-0), and Polt (4-2). That streak is unbelievably crazy and I think HerO might be the toughest opponent for Mvp in this group. Finally, Mvp vs. Leenock. Leenock has looked pretty crazy himself with his IPL victory and MLG 2nd place, displaying strong strong ZvT. In fact, a lot of people would pin Leenock as the #1 player in the world at the moment, and they wouldn't be too far off. I would favor Leenock against just about every Terran including Polt, Bomber, Innovation, Ryung, etc. However, Mvp is different from all other Terrans, he has this mysterious ability to win win win. This match will be absolutely crucial for Mvp, and I'll be expecting to see some magic out of him once more. (Besides, there was a patch nerfing Zerg. )Prediction Mvp vs. DongRaeGu Mvp vs. PartinG Mvp vs. HerOMvp vs. Leenock Mvp 3-1, advances to the Round of 6.

I remember some of the up/downs going like 20-25 games and some of the old GSTL when they used to have two match's in one evening but I think one of these days will be the longest GSL day to date.

i think the longest up/down day was 18 games haha. this day will be 20 minimum, like 24+

Any advice to me? about in my series DRG cares more about preparing for the up and downs (dont blame him. regular season >>> special event). His play hasnt been stellar lately. I wouldnt be surprised to see him go down 0-4 in a tough group
Mvp winning the last WOL GSL to also pick up his G5L trophy would be such a great story to end WOL on ^_^
With the player pool/no prize pool confirmed yet (maybe the players know it) it would make sense for DRG to focus on code S.
