GSL points have decay. DRG's season 1 win has less weight to it than Sniper's. Which is the correct way to do it for GSL. But for an end of year tournament, the points should have no decay IMO. | ||

Em, I'll go for whatever method allows a top Terran player to qualify. I am really sick of watching racially imbalanced tournaments, and especially if it's only 10 players it's kind of easy to do that. My favourite Protoss players for fanboyism (HerO) and learning from (Rain) are there, so I'm served in terms of my own race's representatives. Maybe Taeja? Think he could win this tournament to at least partly alleviate the belief that he's overrated, if he's on peak form. A player who achieved his purple patch of form, with multiple foreign tournaments under his belt, and his legendary performance against IM is a great player, full stop. I'd like to see him win a tournament like this so people would stop wrongly saying he's overrated. He's overhyped maybe by fanboys. | ||
