(the only other GSL finals thread i've made) Pretty obvious that was the best finals this year, maybe ever Lets wait for Blizzard cup/GSL Tour Grand Final, with people like MVP/Rain/DRG/Life/Parting and now Seed? I believe? Could potentially be a just as epic finals, on the line of MMA vs DRG esque. sniper not seed Seed might get in if PartinG wins WCG, provided that GOM keeps the same method as last year http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/GOMTV_Global_StarCraft_II_League/RankingsSeed is #4 in point rankings, and Life qualified as MLG champ, so #3 point ranking will default to Seed at #4? I hope. i like Seed ;x opterown will personally destroy your dreams

Part of it is an ongoing joke, partly because he takes out fan favorite players, partly because he made Eve cry, and partly because he badmouthed Terrans who were complaining about balance. His personality also isn't very interesting, so we made him a villain to fill in the holes. Also his play style isn't very interesting. Just plays super standard every game. He's no doubt a great player, but he doesn't really do anything that warrants me becoming a fan. He won a gsl AND is a great player. Isn't that what matters? Or have we devolved to only liking players that say funny things in English? There's nothing unique about his play to warrant personal preference. It's great that he's good. But he just does what every zerg does except he wins.....>_> He outplayed Hyun a lot in this series when it was about positional play tough. It's Zerg vs Zerg. As important as positional play is, to the audience it just looks like swaying back and forth with a ball of units and constantly posturing. I don't mean to discredit his skill, he's sick good. But it's completely understandable why he doesn't have that many fans. DRG was ripping it up silently taking out everyone last year. But more than that, people could say, "DRG has the best muta micro". And that's something you can tangibly see and enjoy. What can you say about sniper? That he's good, that's basically it. Gumiho- Master of dropping and multitasking. :p Ah fair. To be fair I think MMA at his peak played TvZ in a refined/controlled way. Gumiho would try to do MORE stuff, and be more aggressive. When it worked it's so sick to watch, but by spreading himself on so many fronts he'd also sometimes just screw up
That's why I fucking love watching Gumi play. Just balls out, non stop action even if it's the death of him.

Mvp/Squirtle DRG/Genius This and the 7th best overall
and why write Sniper off as a Jjakji? What did Life do before he won Code S? hell he wasnt even in Code S ever before he won. Sniper was a bigger name at the start of this season than LIfe was at the start of the last. Lets just actually give the man a chance?
Life was second place at TSL 4 before he won Code S. But I agree with you. We should give Sniper time to show us if he's capable of consistency. But for the most, he just stays in team jjakji for now until he shows an excellent performance at another tournament or another GSL season.

Might agree on MvP Squirtle, but Life/MvP was much better than DRG Genius. /not biased. i respect your opinion and see where you are coming and im not even saying that because DRG was in it.

I just think MMA is the best example of multitasking at its consistent peak. Gumiho's absolute A-game is probably better in that regard, but there are so many games Gumiho would straight up lose from overextending that weren't really prevalent with MMA
Gumiho reminds me of a boxer who punches all over the show and sometimes tires himself out so that he loses himself games. When it comes off though, it's a style that will always be fun for the spectator

Sorry (i feel my bias), but now i would say Leenock, just because he is really entertaining and different at the moment.

Time is better for North America, though.
