 ViBE vs VortiXGame 2 Vibe opened with a 10 pool on the bottom left of Entombed; Vortix opened with a 14 gas, 14 pool already gaining a significant build order advantage against Vibe. Vibe expanded behind 8 initial lings and was able to get a little damage done with good micro. VortiX cancelled his safety spine after realising the position he was in, and dropped a baneling nest. VortiX morphed his banelings as speed finished and he engaged reasonably but Vibe was able to deflect with a spine, two queens on the ramp, and superb micro! Vibe eeked out a third queen and get up a baneling nest of his own. VortiX got his own expansion up - despite its lateness, drone counts remained about equal. With the game stablizing, both players started their spines around 9:00. VortiX opted for a fast infestation pit, with double melee upgrades for an infestor-ling style. Meanwhile, Vibe opted for +1 roach attack and roach speed, and dropped his infestation pit a bit later. At 13:30 VortiX opted for a very early Hive, going for ultralisks! He continued melee upgrades, as well as adrenal and chitenous plating. Vibe stuck on roach-infestor-hydra and maxed out, then taking his own hive as well as a spire. The first major battle occured near VortiX's fourth and with VortiX's sick ultra ling infestor army with 2-2 upgrades, crushed through! Vibe pumped out a ton more hydras, but VortiX's composition was just too strong! VortiX managed to snipe Vibe's fourth, and while Vibe teched to broodlords, VortiX got his own defensive spire. Vibe, with a small counter, managed to snipe Vibe's spire, giving him hope! But it was too late, with VortiX simply running over everything with superior number! VortiX defeats ViBE 2-0! | ||
