Both opened with hatch first and very quick speed, and both dropped a baneling nest soon after. Both teched to lair farily quickly and dropped fast thirds, but Idra opted for an infestation pit while Roro opted for a spire. Some minor ling-bane wars ended up giving Idra a small profit at Idra's third. Roro kept the pressure on with lings but his mutas did no damage. However, it was not too much to his detriment, as he quickly teched over to standard infestor-roach-hydra play. At 13 minutes Roro made a huge blunder trying to pick off some creep tumours with his mutas and lost 8 mutas and an overseer to Idra's infestors - doing absolutely no damage! Idra quickly took his fourth soon after, at 14 minutes but Roro took his fourth too. The first engagement occured at 16 minutes at Roro's fourth and despite it being virtually a max v max battle, and Roro having +2 whereas Idra had +1, Idras superior engagement (including dropping infested terrans first) won him the engagement easily. Idra pushed into Roro's third and cleaned up Ror's remaining army, taking the win! IdrA goes up 1-0 against RorO!
