They didn't. They've said for a while that they have it, and apparently offer it to tournaments if they'll hire security to guard it.

of course he's code s level ;o

He has the opportunity to play in Code S and he refuses to play. Whether he is Code S level need not be hypothetical. Even if you want to argue he doesn't play in Code S because he wants to earn money in foreign tournaments, I'm personally not going to say he he's Code S level until he actually proves it.

THAT'S WHY WE PLAY THE GAME

He's code-a honestly.

If stephano was korean and on a foreign team like EG again he wouldn't be considered nearly as godlike as people make him out to be right now. But hype is fun and it drives views.

None of the Code A heroes make anywhere near what Stephano makes, so this statement is inaccurate.

So money made = sc2 skill? I don't think so.

you make money by being skilled at sc2 and winning a lot, so sort of.

Umm. Winning NASL, IPL, 2 Lone Stars, ESWC, WCS Europe, AND placing top 4 in 5 or 6 other tournaments would be amazing for ANY player, Korean or not.

Agreed.

Not sure if WCS Europe should be there since Koreans can't enter that event.

I like how you're implying that all the code-a heros have gotten the same opportunities that stephano has in regards to attending tournaments.

Wouldn't surprise me, they once said they could imagine doing it for major tournaments.

Doesn't hot have a feature that lets you play directly with people on your own subnet? or is it just letting you know they are there but not actually establishing the connection directly?

They announced a while ago that they would use a LAN client for this tournament. I believe they also said other tournament organizers are allowed to use it for a price, but I may be delusional.

Depends on your point of view, politically. I won't hazard to get into it, it's been an ongoing issue for over 50 years.

money made =/= sc2 skill.
money made = choosing your battles wisely + skill

Not to mention his sample size of games vs Code S players is perhaps the largest among foreigners.
