Yes it is pretty disappointing. Hopefully HotS makes it more possible for players to stay a step above others so we actually have people consistently getting ro4s. This year every season has been like an entirely new ro4. Only like MVP and DRG have got 2 ro4s.

Terran bias I guess (I'm only that way in games vs. Zerg though), w/e. One player playing awesome and destroying the other player with really smart moves can make a game look really cool too. But yeah, of course there is some bias factoring in as well.

I am not sure whether it is consistency or that player skill is actually really close right now. Remember that even the 'dominate' players only have a 60ish% win rate.

It is if you use an extremely non-standard build ie. 6 rax no fac/no starport in preparation for your particular opponent.

If Parting's army had been at home or engaged polt's main force in a decent position then it wouldn't have been clear cut that he'd have lost. BO win should be reserved for extremely clear cut cases, like building DT:s against someone with no detection. Otherwise the meaning of that term will just be entirely void and be used for people who win with fast three gate pressure against FE. That was clearcut. That build was designed to bring a mass of units against a no tech protoss. Parting is famous for the 3nex build.
