Wow, how could you lose so many mutas.

muta tech was over.

Still no point in throwing them away like that.

What else can you do? Have them as useless supply in your army or suicide into turrets in a mineral line?

Keep them to scare off drops? Well at least some of them, not that many though, DRG was still behind in supply and nowhere near to max.

Sooooo true. Is there a ST_Legend fan club yet?

DRG so kind not going straight for infesters.

It's Whirlwind. The mobility of Mutas are great on that map.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

Really lovely game from Ryung there...

After watching Life's stunning upgraded muta based Whirlwind play last week, DRG looked a bit sub-par...

Tbh Creator isnt very interesting protoss. He does everything solid, tries to minimize mistakes, has his timings but doesnt exactly have his style like Parting, Hero or Rain.

isn't that stylistic? rain plays very similarly to creator, most of his PvZ is creator's

Or HerO`s

U can clearly see that Rain studied all the Top Protoss players which makes him the most dangerous one, like a fusion of all the premium Tosses.

His PvZ is like HerO or Creator
His PvT is like PartinG
His PvP is like Seed

I miss him badly this season. :/

his PvT is nothing like parting's, and his PvP isn't much like seed's either
it's some strange meld lol

well regarding Storm drops and general precision I`d put Rain even slightly above PartinG

Unlike most Top Protosses he deals very well with anybody in PvP, much like Seed. (even if their styles might vary)

parting doesn't storm drop in PvT much at all. i think if you want to compare pvp, creator is the most similar to rain (pretty defensive, safe styles). but rain engages better than creator

Rain's more aggressive in the early game though, he does have the best blink/obs execution of anyone. Creator instead tends to open passive robo or stargate a lot more.

Yeah that is true, but the parallel I would draw between Creator and Parting is that it's rare to see either of them go for 1 base kill builds, they seem more comfortable to take it to the mid/lategame unlike many other PvPers

I think you meant "between Creator and Rain", and eh. If Rain opens blink/obs vs a fast expand he's damn sure going to do damage, and tons of it. See wcs asia finals when he made Parting punch his keyboard in frustration :D

But then again, Rain is good at basically...everything.

Not as bad as every game: "We're probably gonna see GG very soon here..."

Nice timing attack initially by Ryung. Really crippled DRG.

Hope DRG can pull through

yeah, that was a great game.
i don't see creator blink obs like, ever. he prefers to defend against it i think, and he usually holds it off really well

Depends, DRG is good with both Muta styles and Infestor styles. And Leenock demonstrated in the RO32 against Keen that Muta styles can work if you go for them with +1 and then +2 flyer carapace. But that attack on DRG that sniped the Spire just set him back way too much. DRG needed to add an infestation pit immediately and switch gears, I think trying to commit to muta tech after being set so far back was a mistake.

Nice proxy placement there. A bit far away, but proxies in the third usually get scouted.

Yeah that was a rather bad typo on my part.

Anyway to summarise, Rain's 'style' is that he's fucking good basically, agreed
