Bomber is cuter. Leenock may have the tits, but Bomber definitely has the face.

Bomber needs to fix his hairstyle a bit (less of the "I just rolled out of bed/didn't wash my hair for a few days" look), but he definitely has nicer cheekbones than Leenock.

Im sort of glad that Flash isnt in the finals, i mean a TvZ MIGHT have been good, but combine the imbalance whining, talk about how retarded fungal is, and the CONSTANT flash circle jerk that has plagued every game hes played this weekend, i think that reading this LR would make my eyes fallout.
So in reality... Thank God(flash) its a ZvZ.

15-17 is prime time for playing RTS. I don't get why you guys are making a big deal out of their ages.

Yeah, when chess players can be grandmaster at age 15, so can SC2 players win the GSL at age 15.

I'm a lifelong chess player and high rated (follow all the top tournaments and research on the subject of player peaks). Its been proven again and again that the peak is somewhere between 20's to 40's with a majority peaking around 30 and some outliers nothing too specific. SC2 is much different though its a demanding game physically (high APM's) so comparisons are rough.

Edit not disagreeing or anything just trying to add to the conversation. Chess =/= SC2. But the comparisons are interesting. Still, its funny how the best players really are this young though I wonder if this trend will continue as esports grows.

Best players are young because SC2 just requires execution. Strategy is important but can just be copied, which is not the case in chess. Imagine playing chess purely by memorizing your favorite openings, any competent player could beat you by going outside your comfort zone.

If SC2 is still relevant in 10 years, then it will be the case that any new player might need around 3 years of experience to be top of the world, whereas currently it's like 1 year.

Physically, a person in their early 20's has more potential than a 15 year old. It's just that a very young person learns very quickly, and usually can practice a ton, and therefore quickly rises to the top. But take a mediocre 15 year old sc2 pro and have him practice diligently until he's 20. Then you'll have an sc2 beast.

That's true, but I just meant that it's possible for a 15 year old player to be the best in SC2, whereas with chess the peak comes later as you gain more experience. With SC2, if you're good at age 15, you won't improve as much as compared to chess. Life and Leenock are two examples of players that have been on an equal footing with the other pros for two years now and had a lot of potential which now comes to the forefront.
Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o' goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don't bite; them's my views--amen, so be it.

Ever since I followed RTS games it's always been the younger guys. Like I said before, 15-17 is the perfect age to be hitting your stride.

It applied to every RTS I ever played.

What I find more impressive is players who have only been playing for a very short-time and they excel right away. Things like BaBy getting picked up at the age of 12:

Different games bud and drop the bonjwa talk.

lol its a joke, you mad? People need to chill out.

Like the other guy I just addressed maybe make it more obvious because I've seen a lot of boneheaded comments especially coming from your direction but whatever floats your boat.

I'll try to make my humor more obvious for people without any sense of humor. I try sometimes, but its hard to help out people who won't help themselves (read my other posts I'm generally joke posting unless I'm hushing insane fanboys of all kinds).
