Any updates on Dimaga vs Hawk?

Hawk won so PandaTank is through and DIMIGA is out.

Upsets all over the place, which is cool to see and makes us forget about the disastrous organisation that is ESWC.

Ahhh I'd forgotten how well ESWC does events. Feels like the good old days

The events are somewhat cheesy for the hardcore gamers that populate TL but the live event is good. The online part however ... It's clearly not up to part with the current SC2 scene. It might make CS:GO and Shootmania communities happy but we shouldn't be with that quality.

ESWC was so epic back in the 1.6 days. I'll forgive them for pretty much anything.

ESWC 2006 and 2007 were the best esports events ever made, everyone who were there can agree on that.

They need to spread out these games over the streams.

I watched it from afar, and to me the wrong team won, but the final in 1.6 at the 2007 event was so incredible.

Yea, it's getting a bit boring. They need some funny/interesting vids to fill the downtime.

Happy to see Pandatank advance! With Hawk and Dimaga that was a pretty tough group, big win for him.

So any Aussies want to inform us on this Petraeus shall we have any expectations of him?

First thing's first he is from New Zealand not Australia!

Secondly, he is only 16 years old, plays SC2 on top of school.

Thirdly, he came third in his qualifying tournament and wasn't expecting to get into ESWC, but the 1st and 2nd place players opted to attend MLG instead, so Petraeus took their places.

All in all, he is certainly not expected to advance from his group which contains Stephano and SortOf. Nevertheless, he is capable of causing an upset.

How do you know this? Are you there? Official brackets haven't been updated yet afaik. If you're there, has Harstem played his second match already?

EDIT: brackets are updated by now. Questions aren't relevant anymore.
