Not really
Mass infestors is like one of the best way to beat mech. Life stated it and he did pretty effectively against MVP. Other ways include the standard Bls/Infestor or Ultra/Lings

Because making Banshees and losing them with 0 kills is great play am I right? Doing a ton of drops, not killing a significant amount of drones or any tech or hatcheries, losing your 4th to a ling runby. Getting your push delayed enough that it fails to hit before its designed timing, thus gets countered, so you're scrambling to get out units to combat an army you are now unprepared for is great play. Yeah, Maru played great this series, but lost because the game is imbalanced, certainly not the other way around...
LOL...

Haha, and Polt had a group without zergs. ;p

Maru played well, but he made a mistake in transitioning to ravens while giving Soulkey a chance to push and kill him before he was done transitioning. I guess. I don't know what he could have done differently, maybe threaten a counter attack on the fourth or maybe transition sooner.
Terran plays well when he denies more bases from zerg than he has himself, that wasnt the case here actually.

It's like the SC2 legend of the fall (if my memory is right)
Calling MVP to go out in RO16 and Polt/baby (I <3 baby) to win the whole thing rofl

Bogus and Baby are wildcards!
I certainly would be extremely surprised to see Polt make it past r16 though.
Also I wouldn't be surprised to see Mvp go out early this season, think he took some time off after the finals and then he wasted time playing in China when he obviously didn't want to. We'll see.

vZ is not HerO's best matchup anymore.

Mech has problems with infestors as well. But mech players try to keep training hellions for drones to slow down the gas needed for infestor/BLs and hopefully push out before zergs get a decent number out and overrun it with tank/thors and some viking support. The top tier Zergs has just gotten too good with defending drops that hellion usually do more damage compare to medivacs now.

I agree Polt is good, but NOBODY was saying that, the Super tournament was almost entirely Terran dominated.

haha I never doubted that, but bio is even worse against infestors because marines havee smaller hitboxes, lower HP and are slower than hellions, while hellions even add decent splash damage against infested terrans. Infestors are great against basically everything in the game, but mech is the least bad option against them I think!
