Actually, prior to the MC series, Seed was known for his weak PvP. I think people overrated his PvP when he beat MC.

Definitely agreed. MC is also not known for his sick PvP as he states himself.

During the era of MC's GSL titles he was known very much so for his PvP. Was almost the same standing as Nestea ZvZ, except he lost ocassionally.

Nowdays yeah =S

that was because of his micro he won most of the 4g vs 4g matches

He beat Squirtle 2:0 at WCS

Look at Squirtle's recent PvP results. I suspect he said something about skill in PvP.

He also beat Creator and lost to HerO (who on paper probably was the weakest in PvP out of the 3). PvP is just a very volatile matchup where just slight differences can snowball.

During that PvP.... every time Wolf or Khaldor said the word "Concave" it immediately brought me back to Code S I think it was the night with HerO vs Rain..... every time Tasteless would say "He wants to get a concave to his convex" must had said that word convex about 200 times that day cause it started to really bug me. Now every time they say concave I hear Tasteless' voice..... CONVEX, CONVEX, CONVEX. T_T

It's almost like he made a deal with the devil, he no longer loses to 11/11 but he can't play a PvP worth jack anymore :p

Well it boils down who can flipped the coin better.

Sun seems to be the best at flipping coin winning WCS Asia 12-1.

Well, two elephants fell yesterday (much to my dismay) but maybe it'll be good for us today.

Happy to see that the elephants are going to make an invasion in Code S, not just because I'm a Kespa fan but I think this'll force the eSF players to up their game raising the level of competition in Korea. Foreigners better watch out because once practice gets even more serious in KR, they're gonna have to change their somewhat relaxed approach to the game.

He actually just has the best macro PvP in the world right now. I hope he says it's all skill soon so other protoss can beat him again.

To put it, I think it's just about choosing smart build orders based on the maps (hence lowering the chances of losing the coin flip). Rain just picks the right builds per map and once the game goes late, the Kespa pros' fundamentals have been shining.

And before that he lost to Creator in WCS Korea, herO[join] in PL then beat Parting in OSL, HerO in GSL. and then his run at WCS Asia.
