when a zerg wins late game, terran and protoss whine, when a zerg loses mid game, zergs whine. The quality of whine is same but the amount is not. Anyway what does this accomplish, nothing good but acknowledging that qqing is just ruining everyones LR life

Protoss wins by all ins or Zerg wins by ridiculous turtling.

If anything, we should make BLs more expensive but cost less supply instead. Force zerg to move out to fight for additional bases, but give them a larger army to defend a wider area or use them for aggression. More expensive = less remax for split maps situation. Even so that might be useless. Zergs can just switch into a heavier infestor composition, all you need is just 10+ BLs support. Changing BLs stats might chance TvZ dynamics too. PvZ is just hopeless at this point.

That's all there is to it. The only thing I've ever thought was straight-up imbalanced post-beta was 1/1/1 during it's peak. PvZ is just a generally poorly designed matchup, which is something most people agree on. That's got nothing to do with balance alright? Just awkward game design, and there is no good solution to it, hence why people keep discussing it since someone one day might come up with something smart for once. That is all. Now enough of this, got some OSL to watch, gogo MC ![]() And I agree with you, design flaw is fucked up. Maybe I misunderstood your quote " play toss and I do better in ZvP than PvZ at the same mmr :slook I don't like to say this and that is imbalanced, but there's no reason to be delusional", but if you meant its a design flaw then yes I agree, I would much prefer a better mid game with a lousier late game. Its just not fun playing zerg and having to go infestor brood lord.

So the finals will be very interesting to see how Rain adapts to this super safe turtle style.
