Pretty sure that was a lot of severe overestimation of the Chinese scene, because they were mysterious and no one knew much about them. There were like two players who were supposedly good (Xigua and Macsed iirc), and even they were never considered to be on par with top Koreans. And certainly no foreigner scene- even other Asians- were considered on even footing with Koreans in general. This is par for the course. China vs. EU (NA?) would be an actual tournament. This was just a spanking. | ||
