Standard LR rules apply: No balance whining, no KeSPA vs. GomTV inciting, no excessive derailing ESPECIALLY when games are on. This is not a thread for you to argue with other people.

Haven't been this excited in a long time. Need rain to show me why everyone's been frothing at the mouth about him (despite anhilating hero) and get to see Taeja walk to his throne.

There's going to be so much cheddar in the first series. Proxy 2 rax and some sort of toss cheese from Rain. Rain needs to show some breadth or else Taeja will be able to cut too many corners facing him.

I'm so hyped for these games it's insane. Decent amount of pre-game hype too, it seems. Good to see!

Edit: I would also like to point out that the 9-1 in games between Taeja and Life aren't exactly recent. They haven't played a BoX in a long time, and Life most certainly wasn't as crazy good (or riding as much momentum) as he is now.

Didn't even see that ZeNEX and Startale merged. Was about to say that this is going to be HUGE for ZeNEX.

Regardless, I think I'll be cheering on Life and Rain tonight ^_^

I am going to agree to 3-0 for Rain over MVP. The production team running behind Rain will come up with as many match-up revolutionising strategies as is required to win every set in any single elimination round. Those people, whoever they are, put the S in RTS.

To Rain's other credit is that he is the cleanest player in the business. There are no unforced errors in his gameplay, and I guess I can attribute this straight away to the rigorous training regimens of the KESPA teams... and we thought we knew what korean training meant.

The big hurdle with the coming of KESPA to SC2 has been the (somewhat expected) revelation, that noone in the ESF establishment has a brain. MVP is actually the only plausible exception to that, but he isn't a convincing exception by comparison, nowhere near ingenious enough.

In closing, I conclude that the entire non-kespa starcraft establishment are slackers, no-brainers and inexperienced in their approach to RTS gaming. Rain 3-0. He is coming in with training and preparation on a whole another level than what the established SC2 scene is yet even able to comprehend.

Please refrain from arguing with me until the results are in.

mvp was an A-class kespa progamer before he switched, he definitely knows what a rigorous training regimen is.

A-class? He was like #74 in kespa ranking before that ro4 vs Flash. He was a woongjin terran after all.

Also, does any body know how hard it is to play two semi-finals series in two days? Could you imagine a schedule difference between by.Sun/Rain and MVP?

Everything is a remix.

You two are talking about two different times -_-;; He was much higher than 74 before he switched.

Mvp's KeSPA Ranking peaked at 39 after his MSL run, but he was unable to maintain his momentum and retired shortly thereafter. Some time after the release of StarCraft 2, he transitioned.

To temper the Rain train, he sure didn't look like he could beat Mvp in his matches vs Last yesterday. He is awesome but definitely mortal.

I dunno, MVP has this charisma. You know he's good. His opponents know he's good. He knows he's good. The thing is, when I watch MVP play, it "feels" like he's always losing. It's like he's purposely letting the viewers see it. It almost feels like he's playing top-notch most of the time after being down 0-10 or something...

Go MVP! 5th!!!
