Hmm. Why shouldn't the question be asked? Dreamhack is pretty responsive to the people watching stream and chatting, and I have no doubt that both here on TL and in the chat people were comparing Targa to Incontrol, given that they both have decent body mass. (Not sure about the muscle/non-muscle ratio in Targa's case, pretty sure Geoff is buff.) You want to say i can be compared to like 20% of earth just because they are slim? That's very interesting. There was not much to say for Targa, either the fact that Incontrol is not the best player or their looks but comparing people just because of their looks is just...... boring. Incontrol is one of the best figures in e-sports as a caster or entertainer but Targa couldn't really say anything about this because he's just a player so there is no comparison. That is not what I'm saying. What I am saying is, Rachel asked the question because it was already being talked about by the fans. She's bringing a perception of the fans up to a player, because it would likely be more interesting an answer than "How do you feel about that win?" (Obviously, pretty darn good.) Or the half dozen similar questions that end up getting the same generic answers. Rachel isn't making the comparison, the fans watching were - it's a valid question. And Targa's answer was in fact pretty interesting. A lot better than "You won because HerO didn't put a zealot in the choke. Was that luck or skill?" Incontrol hasn't played well for awhile, but he has done a lot better in caster/host roles in that same time. He has done very good things, but at the same time that question is not unlike ones that Incontrol himself might ask while doing an interview on that very couch. I mean, really. What question would you rather Rachel ask that would have gotten a reaction on this scale? And truthfully, Targa's answer is pretty valid. It's not BM, it's just his opinion. Not unlike Stephano's answers throughout WCS Europe. Not even close to the awkward several seconds before Stephano said he was honored to represent EU at WCS World. Or she could start conversation about the games. I don't understand why interviewers don't do this more. She's a good host though. Rachel's questions are pretty bad to be honest, the same thing happened last weekend at WCS EU where it seemed as though she just thought of questions on the spot instead of preparing anything. Still going with this X_X
Yup, she's actually as bad as anyone has ever been at anything.
I can't think why she still has a job...

Jesus, i really dislike You, but i agree on that man. What a day! it still stands that he had just beaten hero and chose to respond negatively. i understand that it's nerves in front of people that might cause such bad responses, but it just shows poor character, that's what people are jumping on. plenty of people are put on the spot by ridiculous interviewers and don't respond negatively/insulting other players (it didn't seem like a joke and nobody laughed, therefore it's not a joke just an insult).
It wasn't an insult and he showed anything but poor character, he answered the question truthfully.

Never tuned out of SC because of rage before but this is too much. Screw this, screw zerg, Taeja wins this tournament. 3 Terrans in top 4 and you say screw zerg? -.- Yes, screw zerg for making HerO all in and use stuff like this. Zerg is literally destroying the most beautiful thing there was about this game - HerO's PvZ. I'm dead serious. hero skimped on making a full wall or building a zealot. He cut that corner to get a build order advantage but Targa's build order countered it. Stop fucking blaming balance. I'm not blaming imbalance for his loss in this series, I'm blaming zerg because you can't beat them lategame so even the most macro and awesome to watch PvZ player in the world (HerO) has to rely on two base all ins to beat zergs FAR below his skill level. Nothing was more beautiful about this game than watching HerO outmultitask his way to victory against even the best zergs in the world. Now he two base all ins vs people like Targa, like every other protoss in the world. Well. There is NOTHING that proves you can't beat zerg lategame as protoss, it's all in your head. Let me guess, you play protoss and HerO is your idol, and you start blaming whatever you can get ahold of when HerO loses? it's weak. When was the last time you've seen a protoss beat zerg lategame when zerg didn't screw up? HerO has said the reason he doesn't go to lategame anymore is because he can't beat zerg lategame anymore since zergs have figured out what to do. And if HerO can't, nobody can. He was the best lategame PvZ player in the world by FAR FAR FAR FAR. Now there is no lategame PvZ player. Oh if HerO said that it must be actual fact. And you're zerg, surprise HerO + every other korean protoss. And let's not fool ourselves, there are no foreign protoss. Except WhiteRa, who also says zerg is imbalanced. But I'm sure you know better. Oh and you didn't answer the question about protoss beating lategame without zerg screwing up, surprise No foreign protoss? I'm confused, there's tons of good ones.
None whose PvZ would be comparable to PvZ gods like MC, HerO, Seed. These guys know how to play zerg better than half of the players they lose to these days. It's just, it doesn't matter how well you understand the matchup. All of them rely on two base all ins now, Seed tries to go to lategame 3 times against Symbol, loses all 3 games.
PvZ has become horrible to watch and to play. It's a shame, it used to be my favorite matchup when skill and multitasking could actually win you the game.
