actually it wasn't a fact of luck White-Ra had excellent probe control to kill those marines. He didn't lose any probes because the marines were making a b-line for the bunker. Still it's hard to control something like that all it took was literally 1 marine to get into that bunker for white-ra to lose. He didn't start his cannon for a very long time.

Lucifron could have done anything there really. - Make 10 marines, walk past cannon (lose ~2 marines) = Nexus kill into win - Pull SCVs + 10 marines, kill cannon = win - Or just double CC at home into macro win

Soon mices will have more buttons than a keyboard have keys.

nice way to throw the game away by aures... did not lift any of 3 attacked CCs

between seltzer and knocke I am pretty disappointed with this dreamhack. Nothing personal I am sure they are great people they just annoy me personally. Anyway I hope they stream some TLO games. he looked good game 1 against select in NASL, so I want to see if he crumbles or brings his A game (hopefully the latter).

In the hold he lost so much that he was poised to lose the game whatever he did. Go macro? -> Timing push from a 4rax terran producing. Do aht he did? -> Losing in the mid game.

White-Ra didn't lose because of bad play but because of decision making. Basic problem with hidden information, Lucifron could have as well gone for an attack. A coinflip in my oppinion.

Targa vs Aures game 1 was craaaaaaazy.

The hold was impressive, he made bad choices sure but he if would have pulled those probes back after the bunker was salvaged he would have been in a decent spot. He lost so much mining time as well as over preparing for another push with the 2 gates and second cannon.

Amazingly sloppy play from poor AureS loses him a very comfortable match, he had a massive mech army and massive economic lead but he was far too indecisive and let targa destroy his production and economy with backstabs, he recovered smoothly at the start from proxy 2rax with a 3CC mech follow up and defended well but AureS inability to seal the deal resulted in targa miracling up a massive ultra ling army which overran AureS' poor thor heavy mech army Targa 1-0 AureS

Erm no. He surrounded the workers, the marines AND the bunker with mineral walk...did you not listen to the commentary? Don't see how that's lucky...
The points about him not making workers are 100% true though. Shame..

I've never been a fan of Knocke, and I gotta say it was a big surprise they didn't get a "bigger" name alongside Apollo, but I guess everyone deserves a chance to change our minds

Did violet go 2-1 both matches?
