I think right now you could say hes the best zerg in the world without making a fool out of yourself. Yeah there are players like DRG, Symbol who are around his level, but i don't think they are better. Nerchio though is equal to Korean Zergs. Hes really solid and can take games of koreans, i give im a 50 % winrate against high code a / low code s, but hes not there right at the top. To be perfectly honest: I completely agree with you. Just worded myself differently to not turn this thread into another "OMG NOT UNTILL HE PLAYS IN GSL!" As of now I'd only put Curious as his possible equal.

So for me I always root for them. Also we complain about faceless koreans making things boring, but I think Kespa players (with exceptions obviously) are the most boring. Its just personal preference. i think it's good at 1-2 kespa are already competitive, it draws their fans into the games and can only help us grow SC2 as a scene (so long as kespa doesn't try to outmuscle everyone). there's only really very few kespa players who are S-level, the rest are still struggling to break it deep

The only thing that stops Stephano on a foreign tourney, are Korean zergs. Anyways GSL format and weekend tourney format are really different, and they don't really HAVE to translate to each other (for example, weekend are way more about stamina, being relaxed and not going full emotional on your games, which are some of Stephano's merits). And the money stuff is just stupid. Korean plays GSL, not much room for foreign tourneys there ![]()

Polt played about as well as I've ever seen him play vs Protoss and Rain still beat him. Rain's the real deal. Anyone that can't see that is in denial.

It's not a game, you don't play a card and there is not a prize. (Well actually stroking e-peens over here seems like a prize to many people who have a long time to see the sunlight.) Sun kicked ass. Stop circlejerking.

You know winning the most money doesn't make you the best player in the world. Stephano has access to a lot of tournaments that top Korean Zergs don't. Pretty sure if DRG spent all his time playing in foreign tournaments instead of GSL/GSTL/OSL, he could make just as much if not more money.
