This level of play is insane coming out of Europe.

It's one hell of a lethal line-up Europe is going to be sending to the world championships.

I think we've got a realistic shot of making life very difficult for the Koreans.

Koreans aren't even going with their best, maybe there will be some big surprises in WCS finals

There "best" couldn't qualify buddy maybe they arnt the "best"?

GSL stats say otherwise, really, between forfeits, scheduling issues and what not, big hitters were out quickly, which sucks. KRs are the most exciting players imo, but this is not their best. For whatever reason KRs in general seem to have placed little importance on WCS.

uhhh the 'best' players competed, and lost D:

one tournament doesn't show who the best is, Creator won WCS Korea and failed to pass his up/down group.

That is the depth Korea has. There are many Koreans that can make a claim for the 'best' title so unless you send like 20-25 of them, one could make that arguement that the best Koreans weren't sent. But I think that is sort of true for European as well. You only really have Stephano as the obvious standout. But having players like Thorzain, Naniwa, Mana etc not make you, you could argue Euro won't be sending their best as well. Just to a lesser degree.

Having said that, I think we will likely see Creator, Seed, Squirtle, Rain + other Koreans. And if you can get through them to win WCS Global, then I think you could say you took down some of the best Koreans.

Lucifron beating a barely 50% winrate random foreign Zerg is not "flawless" or "revolutionizing" play. He still lost to Stephano in a very sloppy series.

Finally

Doesn't change the fact that Lucifrons decisions in the series was perfect, but yeah, just because he beats Lowely doesn't mean his #1 terran in the world.

And if Lucifron played sloppy and almost brought Stephano to the brink of destruction, then I don't think anyone wants to face a non-sloppy Lucifron.

Im not saying he's bad, he's been playing very well and it's showing, I am impressed I just prefer not to hype up players before they can show it consistently.

Lucifron has been pretty consistent if you haven't been looking.

He won The Gathering (EU tournament) out of nowhere, and it had some of the best EU players there, it was on the same weekened as an MLG Arena I believe, so didn't get a lot of attention.

He later won a SCAN Invitiational, crushing all the other competition, including a 4-0 of Thorzain

He also dominated WCS Spain, not dropping a single game.

And now look at WCS Europe, he dominated in all his games so far and only lost a VERY close series to Stephano.

I'm not saying his #1 terran in the world, and I always hate it when people spout out #1 of anything.

So, let´s see, VortiX knows Lucifron´s style of mech pretty well. Wonder how that will turn out. Let´s hope he doesn´t change his style.

We need some more BBQ.

I believe their brother is the manager of Karont3. With the amount of investment they put into class at this time, I wouldn't be surprised if they never commit to another team until they are at least finished with uni

At least they're both qualified. Imagine if they had played the 7th Place Consolation Match against each other.
