Well, I assume 2nd place plays 3rd place, so ye I guess those matches are of much less importance, and may even end up in situations where you want to lose for the 2nd match to be played.

That is exactly what I was fearing, since the last match doesn't really decide who advances and the winner's match decides who gets a bye, we might see players not even aptemting something in the last match

Well it says "GD Invitational", IdrA won the Asus ROG Invititational, and 8 top European players in the GD house - so something like a HSC light focussed on EU players. Or knowing 2GD HSC hardcore^^

And from someone so keen to sound off about not reading OP's ♥It's a GD Studio European event, like so many GD things they happen to be sponsored by ASUS ROG. Sure it'll be awesome!

I'll miss not having that (it was a local tech/trade show) to attend. I was also a little surprised that SETT TV (the Finnish eSports organization) announced this. Oh well, still should be a great show to watch! EDIT: I'm of course assuming that ASUS ROG won't run two tournaments in quick succession.

I believe after their BW incident, they deserve a second chance at a gaming career, but I wouldn't give them any special privileges such as invites to big tourneys after what they did in BW.
