for HerO, he just had no chance against Stephano ZvP no matter how good he would have played, sending ret would have been a better choice since stephano isnt really good at ZvZ.
Stephano is flanking protoss like a boss.... its unbelievable. I really like your post about liquidHero. "no matter how good Hero would have played, he had no chance stephano has a godly zvp , stephano is the best player in the world " oh well you dont really seem to know how good Hero's pvz is. Although he says he doesnt really feel confident about it, he still has one of the pvz in the world. Taking down players like DRG and symbol is no joke dude Symbol's ZvP is actually pretty poor. He keeps making Ultras and blowing his leads -_-. DRG is good but Stephano is in a whole other league when it comes to ZvP.

How would you have gone about explaining that Stephano beat taeja/hero or when the games we played before hand. The point of the discussion has little to do with those 3 players because it affects ALL teams and ALL players.

You could have used that to point out that all the Koreans are playing at 3AM and some after playing matches already that day. Waiting until you lose to throw out the "explanation" just seems like a cop out to me. The way you explained it didn't come off as a "Oh all the Koreans are affected by this" it came off as more of a "Hero and Taeja lost because of this, or at least it hurt them in some way"

If Kennigit had posted what he did at the start of the thread many people would have construed it as spoiling the results.
Can't please everyone all of the time I guess

Okay, have it your way:
Kennegit or some other TL staff posts on page 1 or some time earlier in the match:
"Just to let everyone know, Taeja and HerO were bushed from playing Code S and it was really late, so take their results with a grain of salt, okay?"
Now does that sound like a good idea, or a bad idea? There's only one correct answer.

Incidentally, without wanting to give more ammunition to the more annoying Stephano fanboys, he beat the current number 1 Korean ELO player in Taeja, and the number 3 in HerO. ELO obviously isn't everything but it's pretty impressive nonetheless

That pick up is already paying off for EG, went from losing to Root to beating Liquid.

He beat Hero many times before at off-line events. Atm I'm just waiting for Stephano to meet Taeja off-line in a Bo5.

Gratz EG.
Stephano makes their line-up quite solid. I like him but his fanbase is uh...well like Bisu's. Except I'm a bisu fan.

No that would be awesome:D

Hmm I guess the curse is not here yet for Stephano, it's like Thorzain winning WCS Sweden (jk) Gratz EG ! On a side note I really think Liquid should add some more good foreigners to their team...

I was more talking about if you were approaching it with the expectation that Stephano would actually win ^-^
