I dunno, suiciding all those ghosts wasn't Rains doing. There was no HT involved i thought you meant during the actual engagements. mkp lost his ghosts due to not paying attention but thats attributable to the zealot harass in the main. also not much you can do when there are charging zealots on your ghosts anyways
uh, you can move your ghosts back. Its not like he has xel naga sights and can get away from them. He lost half of his ghosts before he even notices and pulls them back away, threw away like 8 ghosts and saved 3

he played two protoss and 2-0'd them both really easily ;o

Why is this cocky? He made mistakes and seems to be way too nervous. That's all! because he and everyone that plays this game at a mildly decent level knows that the game was over, sun had no way to attack or defend his third, there were no hts. no nothing, don't you understand? mkp let him live, that's cocky.

It would be awesome to have him back to SC2 at least part-time.
Oh I didn't know that I can always hope haha

i do not understand why not every terran prevents the probe scout like this. it's so valuable to deny scouting. much more than those few minerals

as someone who has struggled with RSI earlier this year, he has no idea what the fuck he's talking about.
it is limiting beyond belief.

MKP kept running into a position where it was impossible to do that. If you try and kite a ball of units against storm, chargelots and colossus you're just gonna fucking die. Marineking lost because he did not harass enough in the midgame and lost 5-6 ghosts for free. He was maxed and didn't attack. You can't play mech versus SC2 protoss. You can, it's just hard. There's plenty of ways to do it. Check the strat forum. No. Chargelot Immortal beats every mech composition. You serious? Proper TvP mech is banshee hellion thor into seige tank battlecruiser ghost raven. I don't see chargelot immortal holding either of those. I figured you were talking out of your ass, now I know for sure. Mech doesn't work against a competent Protoss. At all. There's a reason it doesn't exist at the pro level. Do you even PLAY competent protosses? Are you top 100 GM? If not, there are more than a few Masters level terrans that happily mech all the time, no problem. If the basic definition of competency is "higher than high masters" then every single person commenting in this chat is talking crap. Mech works fine until you get to GM and if you get to GM you're probably good enough with bio anyway to win engagements with it so the whole argument is moot. As the discussion started from a game between Rain and MKP, we can disregard the builds that work 'up to high master'. Yes, at amateur level you can pull off mech. You could pull off mech a long time ago at the pro-level. Then protoss learned how to defeat it. Only that at the lower levels, protoss doesn't have enough experience against mech. Let the mech strats rise and I fully expect them to crush just as hard in the diamond/master range, as soon as protoss have sufficient experience.

Storm allows Protoss to get back into game when he is down 2 bases and 60 supply. Such a fucking joke. And don't say "Oh, he didn't micro against it," "He A-moved into the storms" ... That's exactly how the Protoss fights with their army, such bullshit. Broken game.

MKP pulled back and left his Ghosts vulnerable. Yes, it was MKP's mistake, but it was a mistake that Rain sort of "forced."
And those are really important units. And they were at the Xel'Naga Tower so it's not like Rain's army came out of no where. His multitasking was being taxed.
