Why is this cocky? He made mistakes and seems to be way too nervous. That's all!

I don't think it was underestimating the skill of Sun, it's just Korean bm the usual way, you could tell how nervous MKP was at the start and his reactions throughout the game looked like he was really trying.

To be fair, its always possible to fuck up against protoss :O This game certainly showed how it looks when terran has the advantage and what happens when protoss has the advantage. I miss the MKP from winter MLG or which ever it was. I remember him having this "kill mode" in every game. He would just decide, that this is the time to go all in and kill my opponent. He could smell the wound of his opponent and go all hungry shark on him.

There was no HT involved i thought you meant during the actual engagements. mkp lost his ghosts due to not paying attention but thats attributable to the zealot harass in the main. also not much you can do when there are charging zealots on your ghosts anyways

It was a mistake on his part - but it's not like move-commanded his army into colossus or something. By that logic, Sun should have won because after the initial failure of banshee harass he had a pretty big window where he could have easily punished MKP's greedy expansions. I don't know if you were watching the game, but the ghost throw-away happened because Sun had TWO groups of Zealots harassing MKP at the same time, one at his 4th, the other in his main - MKP pulled back most of his army to deal with that, and Sun moved in at the middle hoping to snipe the expo, but ran into ghosts instead. Again, it's a mistake by MKP - sure, but it's a mistake Sun has forced him to make with good multitasking and timing. Give credit where it's due, man. he scanned, saw protoss entire army. He should know how big of a lead he has, and he knows because he double expand after it. But that was completely unnecessary when sun was dead right there and then

His banshees were denied perfectly, his drop attempt lost him more than it gained, and Rain outmaneuvered and outcontrolled him in every engagement throughout the game. We weren't watching the same game then, buddy. His banshees did a ton of dmg (killing 3 sentries, a Stalker and a handful of probes) and he hunted down several observers with the Raven to deny scouting. That wasn't luck or build order win, that was just playing better. The failed drop was his first major fuck-up though, that's right.

GOGO Think of another one ^^ Or you could look at said tournament and see he fought a grand total of a single protoss. He can get by with mech but not in this match-up.
