It says first 1000, not 1 of 1000...

What's left here? Teaja, that's OK, he's #1 terran in the world right now - but I don't think that he's the most exciting terran. It looks like he's going down anyway, as TvP still has it's issues. First - some random toss... TheSTC - some random terran... Leenock - well, it's nice to see him back, but there's just so much zerg anyway so who cares really. The exciting part at IEM was that we were kind of accustomed to the idea of eu zergs winning most of eu tournaments. But taking down the Koreans was something else and at least it made some people angry and inclined to find out how far can they actually go ![]() I don't see how you can say First and STC are some random players. Don't you follow the professional SC2 scene? Those are players who noboby cares about. Those guys are just nerds with strange personality (no offence to them) and they are just boring. I watched IEM because I want to see, except great games, my favourite players fight each other. MLG SC2 is boring for a casual like me because there are no storylines (like nerchio's greal play @ IEM). I was really excited for Grubby vs Sheth today's morning match because I love Grubby and I really like Sheth. And now I watch LOL stream because I don't care about the top4 players...

If combined they'd be about what we're used to. Go StC!! This is what people keep forgetting/ignoring. Actually, those two crowds together would be quite good for Raleigh.

But maybe i'm still way behind, i saw him first during ipl tac finals, and i was impressed. First's break out tournament was the Summer Arena where he did a sick lower bracket run and ended up 3rd/4th.

Don't you follow the professional SC2 scene? First was a BW player. He's been around for a long time. Don't you follow the professional SC2 scene? Well tell me what is so exciting about them? I look at their names and I have no strong feelings really. Yeah I've seen them in GSL alongside 100 other players and they just don't stand out. Neither does most foreign players, yet people want to watch them. 90% of most foreign players stand out only because they're foreign, nothing else.

Honestly First and TheSTC do seem a touch nondescript. They're both decent by Korean's standards and I'm sure the tournament means a lot to them but they're not exactly fan favourites.
