I thought it was strange that Major didn't have a clue on how to stop Fitzy's strategy in mid and late game. They are teammates. Surely they've played each other recently, right? At least he would have seen him play and have known about the style.

And its hilarious because Major all got most no LAN experience or LAN result for a long time. His recent success has all been online and there is a huge difference from online to LAN.

I never bought into the major hyped when people started saying he was a top foreigner when he had no LAN tournament results

he was just someone who played in korea so everyone thought he was good because of this, I think the style he tries to play is a little beyond is skill tbh

He beat Hyun in TSL4, you can't use 'poor TvZ' as an excuse.

It was online. You should never count online result as anything other then entertainment especially after the spades incident

You realize lan doesn't exist in SC2, right?

You have to adapt when you see repeatdly use of "weird' gameplay. Major should tried to insert ghosts in his composition, should be good against energy compositions.

Other thing is that he opted to make a composition that is not as cost-effective as mech in a map where is hard to hold a 4th (as a Terran too).

It's bound to happen to foreign terrans. The moment a foreign terran at the top looks sub-par (Thorzain?) the next best foreign terran must be one who doesn't have Offline Results, and hasn't played in many Offline.

I'm pretty sure he just means Live event as most people still substitute the word LAN for events like MLG, DH, etc even though there is no LAN in sc2

It is interesting, because I maybe noticed one or two posts that you could count as whining...

I guess people already accepted that Terran still got fair tournament chance in TvZ. It just takes really skilled player.

Looking at the brackets, it's a little sad how stacked the lower half is compared to the upper half. IdrA might actually have a chance at making winner bracket finals and when he does the whole forum will explode with fanboys saying "omg what u mean slump, he has been best na player all this time !1!11onoenonee". -.-

Still hoping for some sick games though. Rooting for Suppy and Scarlett. ^^ ~~
