I won't deny it's a legit way to play TvP and it's worked well for him well (Poor first can attest to that) but creator crushed that kind of thing from hack and select and while RO4 for sting is great I'm not entirely sold that he's better than hack at least.

I don't think you can discount that Creator is already an established player with other tournament commitments, while Sting is looking to get the attention of the foreign scene and its the only tournament that he has to prepare for. Sting might come with something new, or a bit off the wall, but we know that Creator is going to turn up with the same solid PvT that he shows against every Terran he plays

Yep, and that lasts for about a minute or two before Terran adjusts and ultras are almost completely useless again.
One should already start building a SPire and Greater Spire before even the first ultras, to switch as soon as they lose value.

He looks bad at PvT at times because he a moves most of the time, he seems to have a found a way to make it all work without micro but occasionally he'll a move himself to defeat.

Kind of painful watching Johny's play style...basically 1A the entire army around on creep chasing one drop after another.
Other problem was tech choice...ultra's can work...just not in big groups. They have huge diseconomies of scale because they logjam. You just need a couple of ultra's to tank damage/force marauder production...then let infestor/ling do the grunt work until broodlords come out.

"Adjusting" is largely irrelevant as the theoretical counters (maruaders+medivac) make you more vulnerable to the other parts of the army (zergling+infestor). It's all about engagements and unit ratios, and that's where most zergs fall flat on their faces.
