Yes, it seems Foreigner zergs have decided to tech quickly no matter what. And if they can survive the mid game decently, they are in good shape. Although sometimes they take too much damage and can't really support their army.

PvZ is actually kind of ok on Shakuras, it's the terran matchups that are soo horrible! Still cry a bit every time I get ZvT on Shakuras on ladder (happens sometimes, even though I have it vetoed

The reason why Korean protoss kill korean zergs is because their pre-hive timings / 2 base all ins are the best in the world. Foreign zergs go for hive much quicker and korean protoss ain't used to that.

exactly this. infestor control is terrrrrrible for zergs. you have to consider them like high templars. save each one at all costs. burrow is amazing at at least forcing a scan or detector from your opponent.
