last year you get like 5 MLG and 1 TSL per year, with the occasional GSL thrown in here and there. Most tourneys haven't started or picked up sc2 yet
Now you have GSL, GSTL, 10+ mlg (thanks arena), HSC, Iron squad, NASL, IPL, dreamhacks, IGNleagues, weekly playhem/korean weekly, WCG, WCS, IEM, and now OSL and proleague. I don't see so many leagues surviving at the end, but this will definitely burn out and spread viewer interests thin

If you really want to judge the state of starcraft, always look at the crowd. This crowd is fucking huge(if you've seen the panorama on reddit), and its fucking passionate. To come all the way for an IEM in a ZvZ between (only) nerchio and violet is amazing. I won't be suprised if we reach 40-50k during the MVP match, and even 60k if MVP makes it to the finals. For TSL, keep in mind that THAT was the BIGGEST TOURNAMENT of its kind back then. Yeah there was GSL/MLG, but they weren't of the real same "prestige" that TSL had. It was the first TSL that 90% of the new wave of teamliquiders had a chance to expiriencee.... I am so happy with the state of esports, and HOTS is going to do so much for the game I think it'll be bigger than we can even imagine today.
i would imagine over 60K for an mvp finals because lol will be over by then(they are in grand finals now), and it will be a t a much better time

it's good in that it provides a slightly steadier income for the pros though, there's a larger number of tourneys giving a more consistent cash flow
