If you really want to judge the state of starcraft, always look at the crowd. This crowd is fucking huge(if you've seen the panorama on reddit), and its fucking passionate. To come all the way for an IEM in a ZvZ between (only) nerchio and violet is amazing. I won't be suprised if we reach 40-50k during the MVP match, and even 60k if MVP makes it to the finals. For TSL, keep in mind that THAT was the BIGGEST TOURNAMENT of its kind back then. Yeah there was GSL/MLG, but they weren't of the real same "prestige" that TSL had. It was the first TSL that 90% of the new wave of teamliquiders had a chance to expiriencee.... I am so happy with the state of esports, and HOTS is going to do so much for the game I think it'll be bigger than we can even imagine today. | ||
