In fact, after checking the brackets, my thought wasn't "who's Vortix," it was "wow, Vortix is 0-2, he must not be playing to his level today." He lost to MC and Supernova, I don't know what you consider Vortix level to be in general but I think he wasn't exactly favourite against those two. MC is on form lately and Supernova displayed some great games in last code S (beating MC notably). Let's see what he does against the others. .

Talk about the players, talk about the matches, but post your thoughts about broodlords being OP and boring somewhere else. Please. Every couple of months I make a thread in website feedback about moderation, generally in regards to strategy and LR's. It seems to help for a while, but i'll tell you now. Half the mods who respond to my website feedback threads stay they stay away from LR's and let it become cesspools.

Killer and Real were his must win opponents in this group, if he wanted to advance, I don't see a single chance for him now.

It seems like the pure Roach numbers overwhelmed Hasu and if Vortix had used the gas for Banelings on more Roaches he would've won faster.

And even assuming they've just missed him, how come they didn't do research on him before the tournament? too true. i feel there are so so few casters who actually inform themselves about the players in a tournament or just watch other games that they dont cast.

Yeah, I don't even know why zergs make anything but roaches.

It's easy to just say that casters should inform themselves and watch other players' games, but can you just sit there and say that they have the time for that? Several players and commentators alike have talked about how little time you actually have during these weekends (or just in general).
