Does anyone know why Day9 keeps saying that a 2-1 will be enough for Vortix to get #1 in the group? It places him as 4-1/8-3 and SuperNova at 4-1/9-2. Surely he needs 2-0 to advance as #1 seed?

The reason is because they will both be 4-1 so it comes down to who beat whom in head-to-head.

Reminds me of Apollo. If Kaelaris just works a bit more on his personality/exposure he can become one of the bigger casters as well. I like his analysis and voice a lot anyway.

MVP is ranked #1 over viOlet based on map score despite viOlet having the h2h win between the two in Group B.
So either that is wrong or Vortix needs to win 2-0

It's map score before head to head, day9 is wrong.

It's mapscore before head to head for sure, if you believe the brackets. A mistake could theoretically have been made, but it's way more likely Day9 is wrong.
