DeMuslim 2-1 Nerchio...is impressive. SortOf won that MLG online qualifier and thats it. Also, wtf 1BaseGG is starting to feel like watching Naama, it's so horrible Actually SortOf beat NaNiWa, SaSe and Seiplo on WCS Sweden, he also almost beat ThorZain in the finals.
Nice he beat Naniwa who has been bad vs Zerg for how long? He beast Sase who was raging after how bad he played @ WCS and lost to Thorzain. Ok, it like saying DeMuslim beat JonnyRecco, has no light in any of the matter xD

Hm it would have been really nice, for old time's sake, to have a small taste of the infinite power of instant storm again (

They asked whether the crowd watches the GSL - and 95% of them don't. In fact I wouldn't be sursprised if many watched SC2 for the first time or only know it from Day[9]. It's not a dedicated SC2 crowd there, it's a general gaming crowd (whose typical attention span for a single game is about two weeks). A lot of those don't follow English content. While it's true that English is learned very early, most of them don't feel comfortable with it, especially in that age group.
That German crowds can't cheer can be refuted easily when visiting a football stadium. eSports crowds can cheer, too - in Counter-Strike. Cheering in RTS is different, because it is more an intellectual game and you get traditionally golf claps. To be honest, I (and others) found it strange at first that the American crowd (and then the rest of the world) cheers for SC2 like in an WWE wrestling match in the first MLGs, but it hypes stuff up pretty well and I would miss it nowadays.
In the end, it is true that Germany seems to have a problem with drawing SC2 crowds. To be fair, most of them are placed in other trade fairs. Then, there are EPS finals, too with exlusive German players (+Austria/Switzerland) - which seems to not draw new people into the scene. Maybe Cologne isn't the best city for SC2, only for Counter-Strike. As a hope, the dedicated SC2 event Battle in Berlin showed that an enthusiastic crowd can be gathered in Germany.

And he has won the most playhems of all foreigners, important to note is that all top europeans play in playhem everyday.

That counterstrike thing is actually true I almost forgot how hyped the crowds were back then in all the mousesports vs alternate finals, that was almost like a football game at times.

Nah, the fix has been known for weeks - It's map dependant, every map maker has to reupload their maps to battlenet in order for them not to be played with beta patch
I didn't notice if this was an ESL map, if so... It's a pretty huge fuckup from ESL - I bet the people who lost will study their replays to see if they played on a previous patch

Ultras are so good in ZvZ. If players managed to find a way to skip roaches all together...
