vs Ace: G1 = macro macro macro, Ace destroys him in late game. G2 = ling bane all in, takes third to fake out Ace but doesn't drone. Ace has a sentry in his main expecting an overlord scout and Targa runs everything in uncontested right before a second sentry pops out. G3 = ling bane all in, takes third to fake out Ace but doesn't drone. Ace defends better this time but still not well enough and loses a ton of stuff + his nat. Eventually stabilises but too far behind and dies a little later. vs Oz G1 = more macro ling bane pressure into ling/bane drops. Oz is up on supply and equal on bases but loses all his army to bane drops. Targa pressures with lings at the third/nat and drops in the main but Oz defends reasonably well. Supplies close. Oz pushes out with better upgrades, kills Targa's fourth and warp prism harasses in the main. Targa forces him back though loses his pool. Oz denies the fourth again and starts his own. Targa attacks up 30 supply or so and kinda just roll through Oz's forces after Oz runs out of forcefields. G2 = macro macro macro. Targa does a ling runby into Oz third/nat while Oz is out on the map with his pretty small army. Oz then loses all his army practically for free while he's trying to deal with the lings. | ||
