In the history of the game that is SC (BW and sc2 alike) there have always been maps with different balance towards different races. The randomization of the maps allows for less of a chance that a super heavy imbalanced map gets played twice. And both players get a veto. If they don't feel that metropolis is the worst of the bunch for them then they leave a 25% chance that it can be played twice. Assuming both players veto 2 different maps which is more often than not the case since i dont think that vetos are blind. | ||
