It's just that his very aggressive play-style is not as successful as it once was.

I'm goign with MC to win group 5 have no clue who will come in 2nd. ForGG and MaNa for group 6 in that order. I want Suppy and Ret to take 7, and Puma and Sase for group 8.
GO EG and Liquid!

He's approaching 20% mark after this.

a good number of terrans advancing already, hoping for some sick zvt tomorrow, so sick of pvz in every tourney recently

Huk should get out of that EG house.

Living in Korea yet still attending every single tournament in the States and Europe really takes a toll on one's practice schedule, but he still manages to get invited/qualify for every tournament. If he ever manages to get a break that lasts longer than a month, I'm certain that the HuK that made the GSL Ro8 will be 100% back in form. Has he really been to that many lately though? He went to NASL and some MLGs, but thats all I can really think of.
I could understand this in late 2011, but this year has been a lot more quiet for Huk. He never even plays in any sort of team leagues.

Players like TLO and InControl do an excellent job not only because of their skill in game, but because of how good they are at describing their though process while just being an overall interesting person. From the interviews I've seen of Huk, he seems like a funny guy, but is missing something from being an exciting/interesting commentator.
As for his matchup changing, that happens to everyone. You realize that you're good at a particular MU and stop practicing it as much in order to improve your overall game.

He is living in the 'so called' Liquid house in Korea though

I do think though that its a bit too early to count him out. Remember when he first went to Korea, it took him forever to really break out into the scene and become the dominant Protoss player that he was.

JON TIME TO CRUSH THIS THING BABY GOGO he recently defeated Symbol and some other notable korean in the FXO invitational so he has a shot :D it was online but still!
and TitaN aswell hopefully D:

he should move in and get into the whole marketing/personality thing, seems a good move if your results are suffering

Random thought, I know... But I miss Jinro at these events..

Considering he made RO8 while playing for EG, the guys argument is invalid.

Sad that HuK couldn't make it out of his groups ! but.. MOON and Demu hell yes! Everything else more or less expected.
Bottom Half Predictions:
Group 5: MC, TitaN Group 6: MaNa, ForGG most likely. Can the rookie Recco hold up against Mana's killer PvZ? We'll find out. Group 7: Ret, Kas. Two of the best Europeans in their respective races, eyes on Suppy but he's the underdog. Group 8: Not touching that with a 15 inch pole.

Btw this tournament is pretty amazing, there's been so much starcraft and... The second half is yet to start o.O

I'd put suppy ahead of Kas, kas is overrated imo, hasn't really delivered anything

I reallyyyyy hope Kas makes it through =((( from his twitter it seemed he hasnt had the best travel to finland, with his flight being delayed and him sleeping really poorly prior to his departure =/
and holy fuck is group 8 stacked... everyone in it seems in form aswell =O
