Not bad, a 2 time GSL top 8 player can't crack top 3 Sweden WCS. Crazy strong players in that country.

By the same token, no BlinG at Euro, no TLO, or Goody from Germany, etc. But I like this better, the chance of a relative unknown getting through is awesome.

Yup this is really great with WCS. We get to see not-already-well-known players who are really good.

Yeah, we get to know a lot of new Zerg players.

Not sure if balance whine, but there are 11 Toss, 8 Terran and 12 Zerg qualified for the Euro's

He said new Zerg players. It doesn't necessarily mean just for WCS.

It sort of sucks for the Swedish lineup to not have Sase/Naniwa there in the european championship.

Naniwa and Sase were blatantly jet lagged. They lost to their own mistakes and that's all. Yea Korea helps and all, but traveling to foreign events jet lags them and that's why they lose (look at huk for example)

Even though I feel like Naniwa is defeating himself more than anything, of course SortOf is impressive so well done by him! I'm still sad to not see Naniwa or Sase go through though, since their games are so entertaining to watch.

Naniwa played like crap compered to what i've seen him do recently. I wouldn't raise SortOf to the skies yet.

Yeah, it's like Nerchio said in some interview - Naniwa and SaSe moved to Korea, and they still don't do that well in European tournaments, so he doesn't see any need to go there himself.
