I'd just like a bit more transparency given these people got to skip one or two entire round of qualification, or in the case of HasuObs all stages. How was it decided he was national champion btw? He didn't win the WCS Germany finals that was run by ESL... Was there another tournament done to decide this or some form of ranking, such as last seasons IEM points ranking? Or did they just take him as the highest finishing German at HSC? | ||

For the seeded players i can't say. There exists this ranking: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IEM_Season_VI_-_World_Championship#Qualifying_Leaderboard But that's not the whole thing, as for example Nerchio is relatively high ranked and not seeded at all. | ||
