Do you even remember the competition at that tourny? Yeah, me neither. Actually I do believe the other finalist was fruitdealer of all people. Everyone was at MLG on the same weekend. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/MC#Achievements TL considers IEM as a premier tourney (this looks obvious to me, $83000 prize pool cmon), and actually Redbull Battlegrounds at the end of may was considered as major, so not premier (but still its >40K prize pool is pretty decent).

He could also have saturated all of them with 2000 minerals. After that the Terran would never have come back losing 5+ tanks is crucial as it destroys your timing. Yeah right, scary. Plus the ling, bling muta attack was executed piss poorly. One big clump of banes just chasing marines, could of easily split some off and taken out the mineral lines, or not clumped them so much.

July played so bad that game, bad micro in fights (banelings in one huge clump, no splits), bad macro overall (missing way too many injects) bad decision making (way too late infestors, attacking into fortified terran with sieged tanks and bunkers)

its almost like july micro'ed his banelings in the perfect way to make them weaker than if he had simply a-moved them . they were clumped but if you a-moved them at least they would have killed the tanks rofl
