I think Squirtle always goes for the +3 after a little bit but Vampire started +1 armor really quickly after +2 both times he did it. And yes, it is the best macro PvZ build right now I think. I started doing the build toward the end of May, and I stole it from Creator's stream, so he's been doing it for at least 5-6 weeks I'd say. The basic idea is to get a council at 7:00, zealot and sentry x 4 from the gateway before WG finishes, and 6 gates completed by 9:00. Creator goes gate gate gate council at 7:00, while Vampire goes council gate gate. I think Vampire's version is slightly better because the one less gate prevents a pause in probe production. Vampire also usually researches charge not long after his third base gets up and running. It's a fantastic upgrade in this situation because he plays very aggressive, and 10 gate chargelot reinforcements will kill infinity lings. It should be said that this build is much, much harder to execute than the fast-robo macro builds, and is also a bit flimsy on small maps like Cloud Kingdom. Additionally you need to get 2 obs out of the robo asap to scout for tech switches, because the new infestor baneling style will tear stalker sentry immortal apart (as I found out the hard way against Idra the other day). One more cool thing about the build: add on an extra gate, hold probes at 50, and you have a ludicrously powerful 2 base all-in. | ||
