MC is awsome. But he has not been consistent in code S for a while.. i think thats why not so many thought he would be first in this insane group.
Actually Tyler and Incontrol were the ones defending MC. The ones who thought he would fade away were the casters like Artosis and Wolf who thought that MC can only do all-ins. Basically the casters saw MC slumping and try to predict and analyse. But the fast is they just analyse patterns...They can't analyze game play and abilities for shit. Why do you think there is an Artosis curse?

I don't doubt that - but MC's an inconsistent player. One day he's pure boss, like today, and other days he's garbage.
He did nothing to get past MKP - it was all MKP's (faults). On the other hand, his micro in game 2 vs Squirtle made me smile. I highly doubt he will get out of RO8, I'll even bet money on it.

I dunno bout overrated but the only thing i remember tyler or incontrol saying was that the MC then takes a lot of risks

He is definitely slacking - calling the wrong winner, not seeing what is on the screen, bad predictions, etc. Perhaps getting too comfortable in Korea.

No Protoss has been consistent. Inca, Huk, Tester, Killer Hongun and some others are all gone but MC still remains.

Seriously, Khaldor is one of the best casters at hte moment. He got so much better since the first time he casted for GOM, and he was already good enough.

I remember them saying he doesn't play Protoss correctly (back then), but this is also around the time he won 2 GSLs.
