I guess its official. IPL is now league of legends primarily.

No, that means they are giving the europeans a chance to watch sc2.

Both of them have WCS and OSL (MVP has WCG as well) coming up. MC is at ROG this weekend so their schedule's are pretty full. It is good for IM to give some other players some exposure and experience on the international stage. Plus, these were the players that got them into this position so they all deserve to go. Indeed, also MC will be playing at Gamescom which starts a couple of days after this event. Cant wait for this final regardless, gonna be awesome especially with the full TL roster being there!

Now I won't have to worry about seats (well, unless I don't get there early enough) or having to sit through something I'm not interested in

But I have to say : is IPL going to do a little something for the now defunct showmatch? I believe that this is going te be a tough sell to tell people that they are going to come all the way to SF to see around 3 hours (give or take one hour) of Starcraft II. I do understand that LoL is bigger than SC2. But I still believe that paying for two days of total competition will at least give me a bit more than half a day of SC2 competition =) A showmatch between aces afterwards? A 2v2v2v2? (people in the audience vote for 4 players for each team. Then they vote for the pairs they like most among players from the players from opposite teams) A 4v4 monobattle?

Help spread the word. =) Full schedule: http://www.ign.com/ipl/all/news/ipl-face-off-san-francisco-showdown-complete-schedule/ The 4:00pm original start time for the TAC grand finals seems a lot more sensible than 9:30am on a Saturday morning. This now means I'll have to get up at 7am in order to get decent seats, and I live just across the bay. And for starcraft nerds? Hell, I almost live on Korea Standard Time. Someone is out of touch with how nerds operate and saying that it is only "somewhat" early is not looking at it in the proper context. I also can't imagine that waking up early, likely to be jetlagged from all the globetrotting, the players will be able to show their best play. I wonder what Liquid and LG-IM had to say about the time change... If I was IPL, I would be a bit more worried that I have to warn would-be goers to their live event due to an early morning showing. I have a feeling it will diminish live attendance, and no one likes to look at a weak audience with powerhouses like Hero/Taeja/Nestea/Seed playing.

Oh well, if Taeja can't be sniped by Mvp or Seed, I don't see LG-IM making it.

Not to mention the games are played even earlier for the people actually in PST, not expecting a great turnout audience wise. =/

Anyway, TaeJa is going to win this for Liquid. Is there something he hasn't won recently :p
