Stupid format, imho. Ummm... yes, that's a pretty dumb format. Why is that dumb? Liquid has already lost a series, IM hadn't Past series should have no relevance in the next upcoming series or the finals. In major sports, all that happens is you get 1 extra home court game or something that really doesn't make much of a difference, what if every sport had 2 grand finals because one team had a near undefeated run and the other didn't? it wouldnt be accepted. Most sports don't have a double elimination bracket. Your analogy fails. This has been the standard in essentially every double elim. tournament ever. It's either this or extended series. Guess which one is better.

That being said, Taeja made a huge mistake, and could've done a lot better job. It was to some extend a forced mistake though, since Taeja had to do something due to all the DT harass. Still I feel the DT harass was just so good since Taeja must be pretty tired, atleast his defense of the DTs seemed pretty poor.

not sure why people are looking forward to game 9 when there won't be one. Seed won the GSL finals in a PvP, and dispatched the Protoss President. Seed going to lock it up for IM.

Ah a PvP to, likely, settle it all. Seed to do a 1 base all-in like in the GSL finals.

Amazing how some people still try to slip in balance whine when Taeja's been completely dominating toss all day. huh? Its saying protoss is more at of a advantage then terran @ late game..thats not balance whine thats basically a fact...its not saying terran can't win late game vs protoss or terran auto lose to protoss late game or lol protoss 1a to victory or terran stim to autowin....wish i knew bw more for a comparison, but maybe PvZ where zerg has the advantage late game?

OK I understand "Sound Proof" headsets but I am sure those players can hear something.

In major sports when you lose in the knock-out stage you are out of the tournament. Like someone mentioned earlier, Liquid wouldn't have even been in the final if not for this format.
