Double Elimination is kind of the standard for tournaments in anything--I don't understand people not grasping the concept of "two chances." No matter, it's the format that provides the best drama while not compromising on the spirit of competition. A blind Round Robin would actually be the most fair (meaning no match manipulation to affect standings or matches that don't matter or matches that determine placing of teams other than themselves).

unless they beleive taejas ready to go for another 5 games, then theyd come back with him, but i dont think its likely

yea reaching gsl round of 4 twice takes no prep whatsoever


He lost to MC in a preparation league then beat him in a marathon league (asus)

Don't forget that the match vs MC in GSL was before TaeJa was beating everything everywhere, and back then his worst matchup was TvP. So don't say things which aren't true, please.

Really? Happy's TvZ is 42.86% - Granted, he only plays Korea but Liquid can literally spam zergs at him untill he folds (very likely quite fast)

I'd go with First as well
