Well, USA has a population of like 312 million, Sweden has 10 million. And you could make very good arguments for them being on par.

Not really, not by my logic no. Did you read what I was replying to at all? We weren't talking about culture.

One person said by population the US is really bad, and that's all we're talking about. Another responded the US is only equivalent to a few countries, and my point was it's equivalent to 31.2 Swedens, so by population it's really bad.

Obviously there is a reason for it... and that reason is culture.

This guy is not right the reason is infrastructure. Pro SC grew up in Korea and so the set up is already there. There is a reason so many Olympic athletes train in the US regardless of country.

Though I'm not trying to say we would automatically be better than Koreans if that infrastructure existed but you cannot deny that is the main factor in their dominance.

1) How much better they are than me is completely irrelevant. They're full time pro gamers (supposedly) and I work 50 hours a week and play a few games before I have to go to sleep so I can wake up and work my job the next day. It's annoying because the work ethic amongst American pro gamers just isn't there.

2) I love eSports but don't call pro gamers athletes please, that's silly. Unless you were just using it as an example.

3) These guys might be like top 100. ViBe probably is, I looked at the other guy's TLPD profie...he's played in two events that have counted that I've never heard of before.
