Yeah i remember on SOTG one of the MLG admins said they would regame if a terran had one building floating in the corner and the other player had mining bases. Ridiculous shit.


Let me just explain how bad MLG can be with regames. Way back in Halo 3 there was a CTF on a map called onslaught. The game was tied 4-4 and went to overtime after 15 minutes. The team (triggers down) killed everyone on other team grabbed the flag and then killed them again off spawn and as they are running to finish cap and as he is jumping onto the cap spot the game drops. They decided to replay the game despite it being IMPOSSIBLE for the other team to win.


What the absolute fuck ~_~


Actually the funniest part is that winning that game gave TD the series but they lost the regame and thus the series.

Why? At least it leaves no room for all those bullshit referee decisions that leave no one happy. Even though you might have to regame when it's an obvious win the policy is at least set in stone so there's no grey areas.

Because it's really stupid for a player to have completely won a game and then being denied that win?

Then there should be a set in stone policy for regames based upon supply or some other such bullshit. I think somewhat arbitrary referee decisions have always left a bad taste in people's mouths.


I think a regame in extreme situations is a lot worse.

Yeah, I agree. I just like the fact there's a policy to determine the outcome of a DC that is not purely based upon a human decision. I'd really like more consistency from tournaments since blizzard has failed to come up with an appropriate solution to this extremely basic problem.
