Polt literally dropped three of the four series he lost this weekend due to being greedy and not scouting. Stephano punished him for the super fast 3rd in the opening match. Alicia did a timing push and then six gate in their match. Now Sase punishes Polt in G2 for not having enough defense and then ups it with a cannon rush in the final game.
Hopefully this shows Polt that having good macro and amazing micro doesn't mean anything if you do the same greedy builds every game and get smacked down before you can even get past the five minute mark. This guy ain't mad at Sase... And he's the biggest Polt fan iiinnnnn tttthhheee WOOOORLLLLDD.
So everyone else just be quiet.

Anyhow, Polt finish officialy 6th, right ? Or 7th ? I didn't follow it clearly enough.

Yes but it' stupid that people are saying that he could'nt ever beat Polt without cheese is retarded, he's definately the best foreign PvT'er and he beats some of the best TvP'ers in the world regularly.

TvP Battle Report please >_<

Only player that I think could beat MKP is Puma. If he gets any of the other three he'll take them down.

Around 20 Koreans & 2 foreigners in top6. I don't think one could have bet on that 1 year ago.

haha people bashing sase didn't wahtch the game.
He went forge fast expand vs Polt. He scouted (something polt didn't do) that polt went (blind) cc first so of course sase goes for cannon rush because it's an unloseable decision vs someone without marines.

stephano, shit just got real now, show us your skill, GO

DRG is so awesome, they should just go ahead and give him the trophy already.

MKP powers too hard vs. Zerg
Finally DRG called him out on being too greedy and was equally greedy, and we all know, Zergs can easily out-drone Terran.

Extended series vs Stephano ez pz Vs Toss MKP is pure beast I expect him to win either way. Unfortunately extended series down 0-2 vs DRG = no 3rd MLG win for MKP T.T

The only thing to be legitimately mad about is that there will be no more installments of the epic Polt vs Stephano series.

He is right - also keep in mind that Fionn is probably the biggest Polt-fanboy on this planet. You play to win and it's Polt's fault he died to this rush. Don't hate on Sase...

I love MKP's micro and macro, but I'm not such a big fan of his decision making.
Like, it seems he just throws armies at his opponent, micros to make the trade favor him more and keeps doing that till he wins a big engagement and hopes it can roll into an advantage.

That creep spread is just insane. MKP was outplayed in that game. Without tanks, you can't beat Ling/Baneling/Mutas.

He cannon rushed one of the best terrans in the world in the elimination game. And it was additionally brilliant because he knows Polt goes for that greedy opener over and over again.
This is one of the reasons why the Korean pros seem so far ahead of foreigners, because they take risks like this to beat opponents. That's why MVP beat Parting, he knew that if he let Parting macro up he'd get squashed, so he threw him off with rushes and weird timings. If Polt was so greedy he couldn't stop a cannon rush in the match where it's at it's weakest then he deserved to lose the shit out of that game. It's not really bashing, it's just stupid that a player that clearly has better mechanics ,macro, decision making, and EPM can lose to a cheesy strategy used by people in gold league.. He didn't have better decision making.

Zergs at this tournament seem to have some IMBA creep spread o.o
