Umm... Ostojiy is fairly new, which is why he does not have as much achievements. HuK has been around for quite a while which is why he has those achievements... people like you only look for achievements while objective viewers like me pay attention to raw skill. When it comes to raw skill Ostojiy has HuK beat in every way possible: macro, micro, game sense, good looks..... everything.

I wasn't aware of that lol Whatever, MC gogo, looking forward to his series against Bomber.

Yea, hopefully, or maybe lastshadow just didn't want to play his last game because he can't make it through and doesn't want to embarrass himself anymore.

I remember translating an article of Xigua in WCG he was commentating how Xigua is lucky to get 2nd and he has no skill and cheeses all the time on KR ladder. And in one thread he says Firebathero is bad in SC2 for a progamer who played 2000 games.

I mean, it's an invitational, so we as spectators to a free-to-watch tournament can't complain too much, but it just seems that Lastshadow just disappeared from the scene back in 2010 when he got 4th at an MLG and just suddenly pops back up. It's kind of like inviting a guy like Cauthonluck or something. Lastshadow was put in a pretty shitty position though. How do you turn down an invite like this, yet everyone expects you to fail (and some even hope you fail), and you are in a group with Ret, Squirtle and PartinG? A tough situation indeed. Yeah pretty much this. The only chance he had of getting some respect/less hate from the community was to somehow upset the two best PvT players on the planet or beat Ret who is a monster. Instead he lost which a lot of players would and is getting shit on, plus he has probably read this thread and the prior thread and saw all the hate so wouldn't have helped his mindset or confidence much

And thats not the only cases, he talks about it a lot. but that was the most recent. Heres the full interview: http://www.team-dignitas.org/articles/blogs/Interview/1430/Interview-with-Lastshadow-We-owe-a-lot-to-StarCraft-1-but-also-to-Korea-for-actually-making-it-an-e-Sport/ Thanks. I can see why people find that attitude offputting. He did say Ret was a good foreigner though, so I would have thought TT1 would love him for that.

In his position you just try and play the best goddamn game you can and sadly that involved losing to a zealot and stalker.

Are you trying to say that I am over exaggerating Ostojiy's skill? He's simply a better player than HuK. Simple as that, just like MC is a better player than HuK.
