Even though I am Protoss, MVP is one of my favourite players. And these finals were sick! Best SC2 series so far! Game 7 is probably the most tense game I have ever watched!

Best SC2 game of all time will always be "that TSL3 game with Thorzain vs. MC". The fucking epic back and forth game that went on forever. I don't even remember what map it was, but I remember it was unbelievable. Kulas Ravine or some shit like that.
Or that's at least top three, hands down. Belongs in every "Best SC2 Game Of All Time?" poll.

Definitely a highly entertaining series, but the caliber of play was not what I would expect from a Code S finals. Some pretty serious mistakes from both sides in every game.

pretty sure it was taldarim and i would have to say that was a good game but not one of the best... maybe top 100 but not significantly better than the others

Game 7 feels like the absolute highlight of the series. It was by all accounts a terrible game, but with a GSL title on the line and rooting for MVP myself the 'shit he lost' followed by an absolutely impossible win is what this entire season was about. All the TvP bitching, all the talk about how MVP was done for, and the last game comes down to hanging around long enough for your opponent to screw up and lose two units.
The games might not have always been great but the storyline really was this time. Let's hope next season has at least some zergs, more varied matchups is more fun.

Just caught up with the VODs, absolutely amazing, amazing series. The last 4 finals have been incredible, but this one was the best by FAR. I thought for sure Squirtle was dead after the first 3 games, but the way he came back, but to then lose to the game 7 cheese was just flat out the harshest way to lose the greatest final of any SC2 tournament, but great entertainment and I am glad MVP went for it.. This is what SC2 is all about man.

That game was indeed amazing. The best part: it was balanced all the way. I still remember those ghosts killing colossus. Funny how the same thing happened to Squirtle on entombed valley.
